This assignment was from my Junior-year Digital Arts class. The goal was to get a grasp of studio photography and lighting. Our only task was to use a combination of colored lighting to illuminate our models. I chose to use this opportunity to highlight a group at Haverford that I find often goes unnoticed: the LGBTQ+ community. I chose one student, faculty member, and staff member, each a part of the LGBTQ+ community, and lined them up to create a rainbow representing the different shades, colors, and shapes that queer people can take.
